The player can choose during the course, allies to the character, companions, and the alignment of the game as well as the future development of the character. The story starts with a desperate need of a champion in the Forgotten Realm as the Sword Coast is preparing to experience a battle again with the City of Skilled Hands. Dark forces got prepared at the Mere of Dead Men. Amidst a threatening condition, the hero is brought up and he protects the city and unlocks its secret which may protect the city from any further harm.
